The purpose of these pages is to introduce the Electromagnetic
Tomography (EMT, aslo called
Magnetic Inductance
Tomography, MIT) researching in Beijing Jiaotong University and enhance the academic communication with other research teams.

We are a subsidiary research team in the Advanced Control System Laboratory (ACSL), School of Electronic and Information Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University. EMT technologies have been studied here from 2002. An experimental prototype EMT system was developed in 2006. The system introduction is available in an online Google presentation file or you can download a PDF version. Our ongoing research is rail fault inspection using EMT and eddy current technologies. Welcome to visit
us and discuss with us.
Our on-going research mainly includes
electromagnetic tomography, railway signalling and train break test system
as shown in the following pictures.
